The short version
This site asks you for no account and no personal data. There is no sign-up and no forms. The only things that use cookies are the ads and the camera player.
Wait times
Your browser queries the public U.S. Customs and Border Protection data (bwt.cbp.gov) directly. As with any site, CBP receives your IP address when that request is made; the request carries no other data about you.
Cameras
The cameras are public YouTube live streams from the Chihuahua Border Bridges Trust. The video does not load until you tap the camera: until then you only see a still image. Once it plays, YouTube receives your IP address and may use cookies, per Google's privacy policy.
Your lane and your language
If you pick a lane (Car, SENTRI, walking or freight) or switch languages, we store that in your browser only for next time. It is not sent anywhere. You can clear it by clearing the site data.
Advertising
The site may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's ad settings.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google will ask for your consent before using advertising cookies.
